Mazing Motivation: Beauty of what you love!

    Cardinal maze by Warren Stokes

“Let the beauty of what you love be what you do.” Rumi

I chose this quote because of my love for art and the beauty and appreciation I’ve gained by looking at things to draw!

Inspired by a calendar I found, I made a bird lovers cardinal maze. The motivation was the challenge to draw something using red one of my least favorite colors to create art with.

Mazing Motivation Next best thing List!

They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.” – Andy Warhol

I chose this quote to inspire action this upcoming week! I’ve healed enough, to at least put a 100 percent in the percentage I can physically give.

With that said I’m creating the next best thing list of my life. How it works is to write a list of everything that needs to be done in your life. From laundry to career. During the week when I stray or get bored, I can pull a task from the list to complete.

It’s obvious to see that after a week I will either accomplish the specific project goals I set, or become a productive procrastinator.

Write a quick list now for your upcoming week and share how it worked for you!

“Opportunity? Often it comes in the form of misfortune, or temporary defeat.”  Napoleon Hill

I chose this quote because of my leg and what I was supposed to do this week.  This summer I decided to Art full time. It’s been a great summer so far in creating but slow progress on the selling side.

Due to fear I’ve been procrastinating selling my work in a b2b project. I’ve researched, wrote scripts, practiced selling and presentation. All in the preparation to start this past Monday.

Well now being laid up waiting to determine if I have a torn ACL has my wondering did I “hurt” myself out of fear. I finally let that go to determine the positive. What is the maze of my life trying to show me?

What “setbacks” have you experienced that were actually opportunities in disguise?
